A Study on Air Conditioning(¥°)

Abstract
In order to operate an air conditioning system effectively, it is necessary to know the temperature and humidity distribution in the room through the years. The temperature and relative humidity were meassured in sixteen class rooms at Ewha Womans University over two years. Detailed data are shown in Table 1. and graphicaly depicted in figures.
The facts observed are as follows:
1. Relative humidity is inversely proportional to the room temperature, while the value of calidity is proportional to the temperature.
2. The temperature in rooms on upper floors are higher than in those on lower floors.
3. Mean temperature of the rooms building facing south are heigher than in other rooms.
4. The temperature of the room facing north and north-west are lower.
5. Relative humidity is low in upper floors and too dry when the rooms are heating during the winter
